DeepClear™isnon-toxic,readytouseandawater-solubleclearingagentforenhancingthetransparencyofcross-linkingagent-fixedBIOLOGicalspecimensanditsclearingeffectisabletoreachuptoadepthof500micronsbelowthespecimensurface.TheRefractiveIndex(RI)ofDeepClear™is1.52whichishigherthanFocusClear™andwillgreatlyimprovethedistortionprobleminthez-axis.OilobjectivelenseswithhigherN.A.arecapableofusingDeepClear™.Immunostaining.WiththeuseofDeepClear™tomoresignificantlyincreasetheeffectivenessoflaserexcitationanddetectionofcolorandfluorescence,obtainedmicroscopicimagequalitywillbegreatlyimproved.Sampleslabeledwithimmunostaining,fluorescenceandnon-fluorescencedyesincludinglipophilicdyes,suchasDiI,DiDandNBD-ceramidecanbedirectlytransferredfromwater,buffersolutions,alcohol,DMSO,DMF,andglycerinintoFocusClear™solution.
